Lee Bigelow is the son  a wealthy entrepreneur who discovered the mystical city of K'uon 7 L'uan as a young boy. During his time in K'uon 7 L'uan, He saved the the life of the city's ruler, Lord Tuan, and is adopted as Tuan's son. However, Bigelow eventually left K'uon 7 L'uan and became one of the first drummer/roofers in the United States. Bigelow possesses animal-keen senses and reflexes and a healing factor that allows him to recover from virtually any wound (except paper cuts). 

 Lee is also a master of hand-to-hand combat and letter correspondence. In the mid-eighties, he encountered a Nibblonian  robot while trying to extract information from a government foe. After defeating the robot with a custom made drum stick, the Poznań-Wilda government sent Stephens and Poe to recruit him as the third member of the trio.
