A discussion of popular methods for developing new ideas or concepts.
Brainstorm ideas en mass to generate new stories, mind-map a relational
chart linking certain parts of the plot, and free-write in stream of
consciousness.

Genesis of Creation: Where We Get Our Ideas
Along with Jason Kristopher, Leo King, Judy McDonough, and Rhodi Hawk
The
most common question an author gets is Where do you get your
ideas? This workshop will teach anyone interested how to develop the
learned skill of idea generation and how to increase the detail and
richness of their stories. Using randomly-selected audience members and
the items in their pockets, panelists will demonstrate how easily one
can come up with new and interesting ideas about even the most mundane
objects.
