"Hunt Easter Eggs with GP3"
April 7th, 2009  - george-p.com

Planting 'Easter Eggs' in electronic mediums has become commonplace in today's technological playground. It's not unusual to find that there is a secret song included at the end of an audio CD. Many DVD movies frequently have extra footage for explorers to find by probing the disc's menus. Even modern video games include hidden bonus areas for those who want a little more. Many may think this type of imbedding to be a recent trend, but even painter Diego Rivera included himself in many of his murals. Alfred Hitchcock made brief cameo appearances in every movie he made. 'Hidden Mickeys' can be found throughout the Disneyland complex.

And while it's true that none of these undocumented features are as valuable as the Russian imperial family's hidden Fabergé eggs (the original Easter egg hunts), it's still amusing to seek out the little extras included by the product creators. In that spirit, we invite those of you who are willing to explore the 'Easter eggs' of the GP3 site. While many of the 'bonuses' have been present on the site from its inception, some we've added just for fun for today.

To make your hunt easier and more productive, we've included a list of places on this site to search:                                            Printer-Friendly Version

Believe it or not, the trio was hired once by a community college who viewed the joke bios on MySpace and fell in love with the band's quirky sense of humor.
